Sean Andre Reyes…My life
On May 17, 2006, a very precious angel was born. His name is Sean Andre Reyes. Since then, he has been the apple of our eyes, making everybody happy with his lovely smile. Being a hands-on mom is not an easy thing to do, but I enjoy each and every moment of it. I am just lucky for having a home-based work that only requires me to come to the office twice a week. I can easily attend to all his needs.
Andre celebrated his first birthday last May 20, 2007. It was ecstatic! Everybody enjoyed it! It was also a thanksgiving day for us because a day before the celebration, Andre was hospitalized due to diarrhea. We have to rush him to the hospital because we thought he might be dehydrated. The doctor advised us to stay in the hospital until he restored his lost fluids. It was so painful seeing your child in a situation wherein the nurse is inserting the needle into his veins for the dextrose and found out that the fluid didn’t flow correctly. So, they have to reinsert it again on the other hand. It was so painful to see my child cry because I know how painful it was. But, they have to do it to avoid being dehydrated. We collected his stool sample for the lab test and thanked God for the good result, nothing to worry about. So we just stayed at the hospital to restore his lost fluids. The doctor allowed us to go home in the next day for the party. The party was great and very tiring! There were lots of foods especially desserts. (Buti na lng I baked early for the brownies and melted chocolates…hehehe).
Andre is now 1 yr and almost 2 months. Now, he have 4 front teeth (two in the upper and two in the lower). He can now stand alone, walk with a few steps, walk through the house by holding the chairs, walls, playpen, and anything he thinks that can help him. He enjoys eating his TAHO every morning, riding his bike and letting his yaya to push him around the neighborhood, and playing with our neighbors. He is such a wonderful kid. We enjoy every part of it.
Here’s a letter for you andre, I know you might read on this someday….
Andre, you are a wonderful gift from God. You are a lucky child, there are so many people around you who loves you. Please love them, too. We promise to take good care of you in the best way we can, until our last breath. We will do our best to provide all the things you need, not just the things you want. We will try to be the best parents for you. We pray to God for Him to guide you and watch over you in every thing you do. We pray that you grow as a God-fearing, loving, kind, intelligent, and responsible person. We wish you the all the best in life! We love you, son! Mwah!
Love,
Dad & Mom

I could feel the love in your post, kabayan! A very nice read! Andre is lucky to have a mom like you. I’m sure he’ll grow up to be a very bright kid someday – just like his mom
