It’s flood again
My in-law’s place is often flooded whenever there is high tide or heavy rain, which is very common experience here in the
Sick again
It seems like Andre is being sickly lately. Three weeks ago, he was hospitalized due to excessive vomiting and diarrhea. We brought him to the hospital to prevent dehydration and stayed there for 2 days. We were glad that it was just a simple diarrhea based on laboratory results. It was so painful for us to see him in that situation. He can hardly sleep, he can’t walk alone, he can’t play with his cars, and the worst part is that he can’t eat what he likes. He wasn’t allowed to eat for a day to relax his stomach. Medyo matakaw kasi si Andre, kung ano ano kinakain. Poor boy, he was only allowed to drink 2 oz of milk every 3 hours. Nakakaawa kasi he asks for more, bitin sya. After spending 2 days in the hospital, pinauwi na kami ng Pedia. It took a week for his stool to become normal.
Last Friday, he had fever and continued until Saturday. So we decided to bring him to his Pedia. According to his Pedia, he has bronchitis and gave him so many medications for a week. He just gave us medications coz he doesn’t want Andre to be hospitalized again. He suggested us to nebulize. Andre refuses to be nebulized because he is frightened with its sound. Kailangan pa namin sya bolahin, and say that it’s his airplane. Ayun, nagpapanebulize but not that seriously.
We’re glad he’s condition is improving; his phlegm starts to come out. Haay, we just hope that he’ll get well soon. Read the rest of this entry »
I signed up for PPP!!!
I started this blog about four months ago. Since then, I’ve been addicted to it. I’m not really into writing, I do not have a diary or even a journal, but this blog taught me how to share a part of me. Blogging taught me to share the things I know and I love to do.
Thru blogging, I also discovered that you can earn from it. I have seen PayPerPost (PPP) in almost all of the blogs I visit and found out that it is a good source of income especially for stay-at-home-moms (SAHM). I am not a SAHM, but a semi-SAHM maybe because I work from home and I only report to work twice a week. I can use my spare time to write about something and post it on my blog.
I found PPP really interesting and a good opportunity to have an extra income when one of my friends, who has been blogging for years, used her PPP earnings for her son’s first birthday party. Isn’t it great? That’s why I decided to visit their site and see for myself the opportunities they offer. I found out that there are a lot of writing opportunities that can help in monetizing your blog. PPP has also redefined the idea of blog advertising. As a blogger, I can speak about a particular product, service or website through my posts.
And just recently, I finally signed up at PPP. I am looking forward to several opportunities where I can also earn like my friend and other PPP posties.
If you want additional income, this is a great opportunity.
A visit to the dentist
It’s more than a year since I went to my dentist for dental cleaning. Since we have no permanent address ever since we got married, I don’t have a regular visit to my dentist. So, I set an appointment with my husband’s dentist to have my teeth cleaned. The dentist has to put some fillings on my teeth because my previous fillings started to create a hole.
However, the dentist admired me for having a complete set of teeth. According to the doctor, two out of 1,000 people have a complete set of teeth. Lucky me! Hehehe. I never experienced a tooth extraction in my entire life. Kaya I don’t know how it feels. Some says, it doesn’t hurt because of the anesthesia, but I know it will hurt afterwards. I’m pretty lucky for not having to experience it.
I used to wear braces before and after my former dentist removed it, I put on my retainer. The dentist told me to wear it for at least 6 months, but it was damaged and never had time to replace it, which led to big spaces on my teeth. That’s why my current dentist advised me to wear retainers again to fix the spaces. Haay, it’s hard to eat pa naman if you have retainers.
My first PMN entry
Yehey! My first entry to Pinoy Moms Network (PMN) under the food and cooking section is finally approved.
PMN is an on-line network with a wonderful concept that brings Pinoy moms together. This is a site where a mom can share all the ups and downs of mommyhood. PMN unites Filipino mothers like me to share and learn about what we are really built for… motherhood.
I made an entry for the Food and Cooking section by sharing my recipe of Buttered Shrimp.
