At last! We have bought a new desktop computer.

Last week, the PC that I’ve been using broke down. It’s the PC provided by our company for their home-based employees. I have been experiencing problems with it a few months back because it slowed down. I don’t know what happened. But, I continued to use it until it broke down.

According to our systems engineer, the motherboard and hard disk failed. So, the company needs to replace them. While waiting for my computer to be repaired, Abeth and I have decided to purchase our own PC because we don not have any back up of our files, most especially the pictures.

We contemplated on what to buy, whether a desktop PC or a laptop. We considered the advantages and disadvantages of the two options, and later on decided to have a desktop. Why a desktop? For us, it’s more practical and cheaper. Of course I do want to have a laptop, but maybe some other time na lang….if our budget permits. J

I’m so happy and satisfied with the PC we just purchased because it’s high-speed and “loaded”. Here are the specs:

We got it for a reasonable price of P35,000. (No Operating System included)

We think it’s reasonable compared with other PCs offered by electronic stores in the mall because of its specs.

Where did we purchase it? A friend of mine told us about this place in QC, where various PC stores are located. It was in Gilmore Ave, in QC. So last Sunday, Abeth and I went there to check what the place has to offer and here’s what we got…..
