A busy Sunday with a Mango Float for dessert
Last Sunday, my husband and I were too busy buying the things needed for the improvement of our store. We went to the hardware to buy the tiles for the kitchen counter. We went to SM to buy check on some kitchen wares. We have also checked some printing shops to find the best deals for tarpaulins. We are also thinking of what to put in the window, whether window blinds or curtains. Haay, we have so many things to do pa, aside from finalizing our product cost. To compensate this tiring day, I decided to make a good dessert for my husband.
I decided to make him a Mango Float. I normally make this dessert during summer because it’s the Mango season. We bought about 2 kilos of mango at the market and prepared all the ingredients. This is a very easy recipe that even a busy mom like me can do at home.
So here it goes..
These are the ingredients you will need: 4 pcs medium sized mango (scoop its meat using a spoon for the toppings);1 cup of chopped mango;1 cup all purpose cream;½ cup or 1 small can of condensed milk; Graham crackers; and crushed graham crackers.
And here’s how to do it: Simply combine the cream and condensed milk in a mixing bowl. Then, arrange the graham crackers in a square pan and cover it with the cream and milk mixture. Put a portion of the chopped mango. Create another layer of graham crackers and the cream and milk mixture then cover it again with graham crackers. Top with the cream and milk mixture and cover it with crushed graham crackers and scooped mango. Serve chilled.
We both enjoyed it and we almost finished one square pan. Buti na lang 3 pans ang nagawa ko, meron pa para bukas. :p
The final product!
