My new wheels

Abeth has been asking me what to give me on my birthday. Sabi ko wala ako maisip. But then, I realized meron pala. :) I told him that I wanted a bicycle as a present for my birthday. Since we don’t have a car yet, I asked for a bicycle because I can use it whenever I go to the canteen. Yesterday, Abeth and I go to a bicycle store near our place and checked their bikes and found the bicycle I wanted. We bought them right away kasi baka maubos hehe. After that, we went home, Abeth riding his motorbike, and I, riding my newly-bought bicycle. He said that he saw the child in me when we bought the bicycle. Para daw akong bata na binigyan ng new toy. Hehehe. I’m happy with it.

Why a bicycle? Aside from being inexpensive compared with car, it is also my contribution to the environment because it won’t burn fuel that harms the air. And the good thing is that it will burn my fats and I won’t need weight loss pills anymore to help me lose more weight. It’s a healthy choice and environment-friendly as well.

I’m so happy with my new “wheels”, two-wheel drive nga lang. Our crews will also be able to use them for food delivery. Thank you ‘Dy for this present.

It’s been 30 years and I’m counting my blessings

What makes September 11 significant? It is the day wherein the World Trade Center in New York has been attacked by terrorists. It is also the date that I was born.

It’s been 3 decades since I came out in this world. It’s been 30 years since my loving mother brought me out from her tummy. It’s been approximately 10,950 days since I was born. I am now 30 years old.

This is the first time I am going to write about myself in this blog. And I’m gonna share with you some of the blessings that I have received.

At the age of 30, I can say that I’ve been blessed with so many wonderful things and great people in life. I have Abeth, my very loving husband, and I have Andre who gives us so much joy. Having them in my life is the most precious gift that I received from God. They have completed me as a person. Seeing them makes me happy and fulfilled.

Aside from them, I’ve been also blessed with a loving family, whom I missed so much because they live miles away from me. I’ve been also blessed with wonderful in-laws, from Abeth’s mother and sister up to his uncles, aunts, and cousins. They were all nice to me. I’ve been also blessed with great friends with whom I can count on everytime I need them.

At this age, I feel fulfilled with all the things that are happening to us. Aside from our respective jobs, we also have our small canteen business. We hope and pray that it would grow and become a restaurant someday. We are looking forward to having our own house and car, too. And I hope it would be soon.

These are some of the blessings that God has given us and I am thanking Him for all these blessings. I thank God for making me a strong person and for always keeping us safe each and everyday. God has been so good to us for these past years. In return, we will also continue to share all these blessing to those in need in our own little way. Again, I thank you Lord for all these blessings. I hope and pray that He’ll continue to shower us His blessings.

Here’s a picture of me and my sister during my birthday.

End of vacation

It has been 9 months since my mom and dad left for the US for a vacation. They’ve been to New York and Canada to visit my two sisters. They are planning to come home this January. My eldest sister is searching for airline tickets to reserve for their flight as early as now so that she can reserve seats for them. She’s also thinking of getting a travel insurance for my parents because, aside from getting old, they would also travel again. I hope Abeth, Andre and I could join them the next time they go to the US again.
