I have come across an article, from one of the journals I am working at, about the risks of exposure to asbestos. Exposure to asbestos is very dangerous to human health. It leads to mesothelioma, a form of cancer on the lining of the lung or the lining of the abdominal cavity that is caused by exposure to asbestos. They agree to work together to ban asbestos and eliminate asbestos-related diseases like Mesothelioma. I agree that this law should be approved so that no Filipinos have to undergo Mesothelioma treatment.

The group mentioned in your blog is also working on the adoption of a national program for the elimination of asbestos-related diseases since the threat of asbestos will not go away with asbestos ban. More on the threats of asbestos here.
