I won’t be reporting to the office tomorrow because I am afraid of being stranded due to the Super Typhoon Pepeng. According to PAGASA, the typhoon is expected to make landfall in Aurora-Isabela by Saturday afternoon. But, as of this moment (12AM Oct.2), PAGASA announced that Aurora is now under Signal #2. In preparation to the typhoon, many people, including us, went to the grocery to buy foods, including breads, canned goods, noodles, candles, batteries, and emergency lamp. Since I won’t be reporting to the office tomorrow, I will be very busy cleaning up the mess in our house left by the previous typhoon. I will also help my in-laws to clean their house and help them elevate their furniture and appliances in preparation to the typhoon – another alternative workout that won’t require me to take the best diet pills anymore. We’re glad that my husband was able to borrow one of their company-trucks to deliver water in our area because there is still no water-supply in our area due to the damaged pump station. We also shared the water with our neighbors for them to be able to clean their house.

It’s time for me to sleep na because tomorrow is a very busy day. Let’s all pray for everyone’s safety. God bless us all!
