It has been more than 1 week since Typhoon Ondoy hit us. It is one of the reasons why I wasn’t able to update my blog. Many people, including us, have been very busy cleaning up all the thick mud brought about by Typhoon Ondoy. It was only last Sunday that we were able to do the clean up. Abeth and I did a major house clean up to remove mud from the floor tiles, couch, windows, walls, sinks, and doors. We have to dispose of our couch because it is very dirty and it smells bad. We have also disposed some stuff submerged in mud. The cleaning was miserable because water supply wasn’t available until yesterday. During times like these people realize the importance of water and the importance of conserving water. People learn to recycle water. I hope people will continue to conserve water even if there is no calamity like this.
