Rock formations at Capones Island in Zambales
After 2 consecutive weekends of out-of-town trips, I think I need a face moisturizer for my dry skin due to sun exposure during swimming and island hopping. It was really fun exploring different islands and seeing the magnificent view of the beach and huge rock formations on these islands. Here are some photos taken from Capones Island and Anawangin Cove showing off the beautiful rock formations.
It was such a beautiful island. It was our second time in Capones Island where the lighthouse is located. The first one was in June 2009 and it took us 1 hour of trekking to reach the lighthouse. We were all tired and thirsty because we did not bring water because we didn’t expect that we would go trekking to reach the lighthouse. But, we were all relieved upon seeing the magnificent view of the sea from the top. It was so beautiful!
A very “techie” Andre
I think Andre is a very ‘techie’ boy. He already knows how to use the PC and the laptop. He already knows how to shut it down. He also knows how to search and watch cars in You Tube all by himself. He can type the word CARS on the search tab. When tired of watching cars in the laptop, he’ll ask me to turn on the TV and there he will watch Cars the Movie again. I think we have seen the movie hundred times na. But still, he is not tired of watching them all over and over again.
But, there’s this question from him that made me rise my eyebrows. Few weeks ago, he asked me, “Mom, I want an IPOD”. I was surprised. I wasn’t able to reply right away because I am thinking where he got that idea. I remember seeing Andre’s cousins with their ipods. There I knew where he got that idea. So, I asked him why he likes to have an ipod. He told me, “wala lang”. O diba! He acts and talks like an adult na. Haaay…
Lagarista
I’m so tired! I’ve been very busy since the start of 2010. I have to divide my time from tons of work loads and two consecutive out-of-town trips. Last weekend, we went to Bohol with Abeth, Andre, my sister-in-law, mother-in-law, together with his Tito and Tita who came from Australia. Since we’ve been to Bohol before, we suggested them to visit the place because of its nice beaches and beautiful places to be explored. So, I made arrangements for the said trip in just 1 week. We had our flight booked at Cebu Pacific and cheap accommodation at Whites & Greens Resort. The resort was fine, very relaxing because it is not crowded compared to other resorts in Panglao. It was such a fun and tiring trip. We were able to visit the places that we weren’t able to visit before. Back to work last Monday and had to finish all my works due for this week so that there will be no pending works during the weekend because we are going to Zambales this weekend.
I already made arrangements for this trip, which include the resort and boat to be used in our island hopping. Being a lagarista is not easy, I think I need to take multivitamin supplement now.
Litratong Pinoy: Sea Urchin

Life Insurance or College Plan?
We are not insured yet, and we’re still thinking about it. A friend convinces me to avail one and has presented us their term life insurance rates. They have several options for payment, i.e., yearly, twice-a-year, quarterly, and monthly. She has presented us the benefits that we could avail once insured. Since we are not that interested in having ourselves insured, we asked her to present us a college plan instead, because we are more concerned with Andre’s education in the future. I hope she can give us a nice offer.
