I hope you’ll find time to visit my new blog so that it would increase its page rank and be added in web directories. ;)  Feel free to comment.

Ciao!

Irregular bowel movements

I’m afraid of having to suffer from colon problems in my later years due to irregular bowel movements. I have a very irregular bowel movement that results to constipation. Lack of fiber and consumption of too many refined sugar calories are some of the causes of problem in bowel movements. Consuming foods rich in animal fats like dairy products, meats, and eggs can cause also constipation. Thus, I need to eat more foods that are rich in fiber like fruits and leafy vegetables to normalize my bowel movement. I have also read about the benefits of colon cleanse. Colon cleansing allows the digestive system to function more efficiently by removing the toxins that have built up over time. More nutrients are absorbed from food, and toxins are flushed out of the colon before they have a chance to damage our health; thus, improving the health of the immune system and the entire body.

Dried Basil Leaves for Acne Treatment

Dried basil leaves are one of the most important ingredients that can be found in our kitchen. I use them in various dishes like carbonara, pan-fried chicken, baked chicken, and pasta recipes. It has several uses. And guess what I’ve discovered: I’ve read that it can also be used as a natural remedy for pimples or adult acne. Just brew 2-3 teaspoons of dried basil leaves in 1 cup of boiling water for 20 minutes. Let them cool and store it in a sterilized plastic bottle for future use. Apply to affected area with a cotton ball just like your usual facial cleanser.

Impressive government employees

We are planning to start building our dream home. Since we do not have enough money for the construction of our dream home, we inquired at the PAGIBIG office about their housing loan and we were asked to attend the seminar. Today, Abeth and I attended the seminar for the PAGIBIG housing loan at their provincial office in Malolos, Bulacan. The presentation was quite impressive, not to mention the Power Point presentation using her Sony VAIO laptop :) . The presentation was very informative and the speaker was so accommodating in answering all our queries. Abeth and I were both pleased with the attitude of the employees from that branch. They were all polite from the guards to the marketing assistant. We are not expecting being treated nicely by government office employees because let’s admit that MOST government employees in our country are discourteous. I have so many bad experiences with government offices, which gave me a bad impression on them. But, this PAGIBIG office delighted us with their pleasant and responsive employees. I guess the reason is that most of their employees were younger – most of the employees in the customer services are in their late twenties – compared with other government offices that have older staff. Kudos to these people! Mabuhay kayo!

Do you think younger government employees are more polite than the senior old-fashioned employees?

Well, this is just what I believe. :) Tamaan wag magalit! :P

The Graduate

Time really flies fast. Andre is graduating from the Daycare. He will be turning 4 in a few months. We are so happy that he has improved a lot. His socializing skills have improved wonderfully. It’s a great achievement for parents like us seeing our child becoming a better person. He has matured and learned a lot of things from school. It is a great accomplishment for us because our main goal actually is for him to be able to meet new friends and learn to mingle with them because he has no one to play with in our house.

This is his graduation picture. I took them a few days back while their official photographer was taking their graduation photos. Isn’t he adorable? He’s a big boy now. From this photo, I can make photo graduation announcements for their graduation day. :D
