Para sa akin, ito ang isa sa mga pinaka-kapaki-pakinabang na teknolohiya na naimbento. Ito ang Continuous Ink System. Ito ay ikinakabit sa printer ng inyong computer. Lubhang popular ito dito sa Pilipinas dahil malaki ang matitipid sa pag gamit nito dahil hindi mo na kailangang bumili ng mga “genuine” ink na lubhang napakamahal. Ipinakabit namin ito para magamit sa aming mga pag-piprint dahil nga pasukan na naman, tiyak na marami na naman kaming kailangan i-print para sa mga takdang aralin ng aming butihing estudyante.

Last week, I was so shocked when I read the FB status of my sister, who is based in NY. A strong wind knocked down a big tree across their house, then fell on our house. Her kids were able to get out of the house by climbing over the fence. I felt so worried. But, thank God they are all safe. Thank God that her kids were not outside when that incident happened. I was able to talk to her 3 days after the incident happened. She told me what really happened. She told me that she received a call from his son telling her that a tree fell on their house. She was not worried at first because she did not expect that it was something serious when his son told her that his sister was trapped inside the house and crying. My sister immediately went home to check them. And here’s what she saw:

A damaged car and non-passable pathway from their house. They were so lucky that it was not their car. Their car was located beside this damaged car. Good thing is they did not park there that day because they used to park their car there. Her friend took this picture and grabbed this from her FB account.

When she reached their house, she told her daughter to come out of the house and climb over the fence for her to be able to get out of their house. Then they felt relieved because her daughter was safe. Though they’re car was also slightly damaged and they have no electricity that night. Their neighbors offered them their house until the tree is removed and the cable that supplies electricity to their house is repaired. They were also glad that it happened when they are still in NY because they were about to leave to go to LA to attend a reunion and christening of her sister-in-law’s new born twins. Since their car was damaged, the insurance company offered them a daily allowance for car rental until their car has been fixed. What a good offer, diba? I hope insurance companies here in the Philippines can offer cheap auto insurance and can be of good service to their clients like insurance companies abroad.

Andre is now a Junior Kinder and see how he looks like in his new uniform.

His class schedule is from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. We chose the afternoon session because it is so difficult to wake him up as early as 6:30 AM to prepare for the 7:30 AM class. It is also hard for me to wake as early as 6AM to prepare everything because I stay up very late working. With the afternoon session, I don’t have to be in a hurry everyday to prepare him for school.

During the first 3 days, I accompany him to his classroom before the classes start. I even took a picture of their room. They have a toilet inside the room, a playhouse, and a mini library. They also have a cubby hole to put their bags.

While waiting for him outside, I roamed around the school and saw some photos of the school activities. I saw kids wearing pirate costumes, princesses, and superhero costumes during one of their activities. They were so cute. I can’t wait to see Andre wearing costumes too! And I am looking forward to the activities they will have in his new school. I know Andre will enjoy activities like this.

We’ve been busy drawing the floor plan for our home before giving it to the architect to give him at least an idea of the home we wanted. It will be a house with 3 small bedrooms in the second floor and a family room in the first floor. We also have a provision for attic. I’ve been checking the Internet for some design ideas for the rooms, most especially the kitchen – my favorite part of the house. I included a kitchen work station where I could do my work in the laptop while cooking. This will also serve as my office where monthly bills will be placed, where weekly menus will be posted, and where cookbooks will be placed. In our current house, I’ve been staying in our bedroom the whole day working on my PC because it is so hot to work downstairs. I will only go downstairs when it is time to cook and eat. I have seen a lot of design ideas for the kitchen, including the pantry and kitchen cabinets. I would also love to use Kohler kitchen sinks to be placed near the gas stove. I have also included a movable kitchen island with breakfast nook.

We are excited to see the final design so that we can submit our home loan application. We are planning to start the construction by yearend. We hope that the bank would grant us our desired loan amount. We’re keeping our fingers crossed. Wish us luck!

I think I need to use the best anti wrinkle cream! I am having wrinkles due to this annoying neighbor of ours. Let’s call her neighbor No. 3 because we live in a 7-door apartment. Neighbor No. 3 used our clothesline without even asking me first if we are going to use it. Well, Saturday is laundry day for me. When I was about to hang our clothes, I saw all their clothes all over our clothesline. They even used Neighbor No. 2’s clothesline. This is not the first time to happen that’s why it made me mad. So, I knocked on their door to ask them to please remove their clothes because I am going to use it. But, no one opened the door. Neighbor No. 4 told me that they left a while ago. I was so furious, aside from not asking me that they’ll be using it, and also because I have to hang our clothes while it is still sunny and it might rain again in the afternoon. I have to make a move. What I did was I moved all their clothes and placed them on their clothesline so that I could hang our clothes. Sorry na lang sa kanila. Hmmmp.
