This is a long overdue post about our 5th Wedding Anniversary.

We have celebrated our anniversary in Tagaytay. We got an early booking at The Andanita Lakeview Hotel & Coffeeshop (Taj of Tagaytay) for the accommodation and availed their promo. We got our room for Php3200 per night, including free breakfast for two.

Andanita is the only 24-hr Indian-Mediterranean Lakeview Hotel & Coffeshop in Metro-Tagaytay atop 2200 ft Tagaytay ridge. It has 8 rooms each designed with utmost attention to details. Every room have its own identity and signature representing countries of Asia, Middle East, and Mediterranean.

We stayed at Cairo’s Kingdom, their Egyptian-inspired room. It is a 21-sq m bedroom with a queen-sized bed, Wi-Fi, hot and cold shower, and aircon. The place was okay for a low-budget accommodation.

Ang larawan na ito ng aking kabiyak ay kuha sa Chocolate Hills sa Bohol noong nakaraang Enero 2010. Diba’t halatang-halata na isang malaking kasinungalingan ang ‘background’? Nakakalungkot isipin na ginagamit nila ito para pagkakitaan, ngunit lubhang halata na ang mga ito ay larawan lamang na yari sa tarpaulin.

Bakit nga ba hindi na pinapayagan na magpakuha ng litrato doon sa may burol? May mga usap-usapan na may nahulog na daw doon habang kinukunan ng jumpshot. Sabagay, delikado naman talaga kasi isang maling hakbang mo lang ay tiyak na mahuhulog ka talaga sa bangin. Buti na lng nagkaroon pa kami ng pagkakataon na magkaroon ng isang magandang “jump shot” sa Chocolate Hills noong una namin itong puntahan noong 2007.  ;)

Heto ng aking lahok para tema ngayong linggo. Kuha ito noong weekend noong kami ay magpunta sa Philippine Hot Air Balloon Fiesta sa Clarkfield, Pampanga.

After 2 consecutive weekends of out-of-town trips, I think I need a face moisturizer for my dry skin due to sun exposure during swimming and island hopping. It was really fun exploring different islands and seeing the magnificent view of the beach and huge rock formations on these islands. Here are some photos taken from Capones Island and Anawangin Cove showing off the beautiful rock formations.

It was such a beautiful island. It was our second time in Capones Island where the lighthouse is located. The first one was in June 2009 and it took us 1 hour of trekking to reach the lighthouse. We were all tired and thirsty because we did not bring water because we didn’t expect that we would go trekking to reach the lighthouse. But, we were all relieved upon seeing the magnificent view of the sea from the top. It was so beautiful!

Noong nakaraan weekend ay nabigyan ulit kami ng pagkakataon para mabisitang muli ang probinsya ng Bohol. Aming napuntahan ang mga lugar na hindi namin napuntahan noon una naming pagbisita. Isa sa mga lugar na ito ay ang Virgin Island. Isang napakagandang Isla na kulay puti ang buhangin. Dito ay may mga nagbebenta ng mga sea urchins na sinisid ng mga taga-roon para sa kanilang kabuhayan. Hindi pa ako nakakatikim ng sea urchin sa tanang buhay ko at ngayon lang ako nakakita nito.

Narito ang litrato ng sea urchins na binebenta ng mga taga-roon sa halagang P25 ang isa. Mahal daw ito sa restaurant. Makapal ang pinaka-shell nito na may mga maninipis na tinik.

Ngunit pag ito ay iyo nang binuksan, makikita mo na manipis lang pala ito.

Tinikman ko ito at ito ay aking nagustuhan lalo na nung nilagyan ng suka.  Ang sarap!

Here’s a photo of Andre and his new friend Jed. This photo was taken at Balay Indang 2 weeks ago during our early Christmas party with my officemates. Andre and Jed, together with their dads enjoyed the swimming while the wives and single ladies enjoyed the videoke. It was Andre and Jed’s second time to meet. The first time was during my birthday. It was also the first time Sonia, Jed’s mom who works in a car insurance company and Jonathan’s wife, joined us. We were able to get to know her better. It was a great day and we all enjoyed it.
