Weekend Snapshot

It’s clay time!

Disney Pixar’s CARS The Movie is Andre’s favorite. He has seen it hundred times and I made a copy on DVD several times. He almost memorized the lines and movie scenes. Most of his things have images of the movie characters, including his favorite Lightning Macqueen. He has so many diecast characters of the movie. Some are bought by us and some are given by his lolo and lolas.

Last Friday As part of the Daycare’s activities, his teacher ask them to bring clay. He learned how to form shapes from clays. Yesterday, I helped him to create Lightning Macqueen, Chick Hicks, and The King from clay. Look what we had:

He was so happy with the results. He told me that the cars we made have no eyes, so he helped me out to create the cars’ eyes. :D

That’s it for now. For the meantime, I have to check Frontline’s pet meds for my friend’s dogs.

Weekend Snapshot: Andre and friends

andre-and-friends-2

While I am busy blogging and browsing shoes from UGG Australia, i took this photo last Saturday when Andre is having fun with his friends in our neighborhood. They all have twist-cars in their respective colors, pink for Justine, purple for Pascal, and blue for Andre.  Andre has stickers of Cars the Movie characters all over his twist-car, Justine has Dora, and Pascal is just a plain twist-car. Another funny thing about his friends is that they have foreigner fathers, a Japanese for Justine and an Indian for Pascal, while Andre  is a full-blooded Pinoy! :D

Weekend Snapshot: Not a baby anymore

As always, we had a very busy weekend.  Last Saturday, I woke up at 6AM to go to the market. in the afternoon, we attended a birthday party at Shakey’s in SM. After the party, we went to Pulilan, Bulacan, to visit my eldest sister’s house that has been unoccupied for years because they are now based in the US.  Some parts of their house were ruined by termites and need to be repaired. I took pictures of their house to show them the damages.

Come Sunday, I woke up early to prepare the foods needed in the canteen. I stayed in the canteen to assist the cook in introducing our new menu. In the afternoon, Abeth told me that Andre will join the parade in our Barangay’s basketball league. Abeth’s cousins bought a pair of jersey for Andre.

And here he is…Our little angel is not a baby anymore…

Weekend Snapshots: Weekend at Sitio Lucia Resort

The three of us went to Sito Lucia Resort last weekend to keep our promise to Andre. We promised him that we’ll go swimming when his colds are gone. So we kept our promise. We packed our bags and went to Sitio Lucia Resort, which is located at Sta. Maria, Bulacan, just 45 minutes ayaw from our house. We arrived around 10am and went home at 5pm.

Here are some of the pictures. (I did not post picture of mine because I’m still overweight. I think I need to try weight loss products now. Haay. :D )

We did not bring baon, we just ate at their restaurant. They had reasonable food prices.

And we had these for lunch:

Burger with fries for Andre with ketchup of course. ;) for P60.00

Andre enjoyed the fries with lots of ketchup! A ketchup monster I may say. :D

6

Sizzling Chicken for mom (P130.00)

The chicken was deep fried with a special gravy with some mixed vegetables. The taste was okay eventhough the presentation was not that good.

7

Sizziling Squids for Dad (P150.00)

I find this dish expensive because the squid was not that big.But the taste was fine.

We all enjoyed the day and looking forward to our next swimming because it’s really getting hot na.

Weekend Snapshot: Sunday is Family Day

I’m late for this week’s weekend snapshot. These pictures are actually taken last week during our Sunday Jogging.  Sunday is a family day for us, because it is hubby’s day-off.  He works Monday thru Saturday that’s why we make sure that we spend our Sunday together.

We plan to jog every Sunday at the nearby subdivision. It is also the place where I practice driving. During that time, we discovered this part of the subdivision where few houses are built and vacant lots are still covered with water. According to hubby, this part of the subdivision is a former fish pen. So, we get our digicam and took pictures of the place.

Isn’t it beautiful? As if we’re not in a subdivision. :D

Haay, we have so many pictures that need to be printed. I should look for photo printers to let these photos be printed. Dami na talaga! :D

Ciao!
